Raise & Scale with AI is a program of Life's A Pitch.

1. About This Policy

DeepThynk Pty Ltd (trading as Life's A Pitch, operating the Raise & Scale with AI program) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information openly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect personal information when you visit raiseandscale.ai, enquire about or enrol in the Raise & Scale with AI program, complete the Raise-Readiness Scorecard, or otherwise deal with us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What Is Personal Information

Personal information is information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable — whether or not it is true and whether or not it is recorded in a material form. Examples include your name, contact details and payment information. Sensitive information is a special category that includes health information and details such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs and political opinions. We do not collect sensitive information.

3. The kinds of personal information we collect and hold

We may collect and hold the following kinds of personal information:

Identity and contact details — name, email address, phone number, business name, role/title, and country/location.

Account information — Skool username, login credentials, and membership status.

Payment information — billing details and transaction records. Full card numbers are not stored by us — they are processed and held by Stripe (our payment processor via Skool).

Scorecard and assessment data — your responses to the Raise-Readiness Scorecard (including information about your business stage, raise target, pitch readiness, and financial model status).

Program engagement information — your enrolments, course progress, module completions, live session attendance and participation (which may be recorded), contributions you make in the Skool community, and your communications with us.

Marketing preferences — your email subscription status, lead magnet opt-in source, and how you interact with our emails.

Technical and usage information — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referral source, and similar analytics data collected automatically (see section 7).

Advertising data — data collected via the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel relating to ad interactions and conversions

4. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information in the following ways:

• Directly from you — when you complete the Raise-Readiness Scorecard, fill in a form, enquire, enrol, pay, email us, complete a survey, participate in live sessions, or post in the community.

• Automatically — through cookies, the Meta pixel, and analytics tools when you use our website or interact with our ads (see section 7).

• From third parties — such as Stripe (payment processor), Skool (community platform), Go High Level (CRM and email), and Meta (advertising platform), where you have provided information to them in connection with our services. Where it is reasonable and practicable, we collect personal information directly from you.

5. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information

We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including to:

• provide, administer and deliver the Raise & Scale with AI program, including access to content, live sessions, and community;

• generate and deliver your personalised Raise-Readiness Scorecard results;

• process payments, manage subscriptions, issue invoices and manage refunds;

• create and manage your account and verify your identity;

• respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;

• send you service-related communications (e.g. enrolment confirmations, session reminders, and community updates);

• send you marketing communications where permitted (see section 9);

• deliver targeted advertising via Meta (Facebook/Instagram);

• improve our website, content, advertising and services, including through analytics;

• maintain the security of our systems and prevent fraud or misuse; and

• comply with our legal obligations.

We will only use or disclose your personal information for a purpose for which it was collected, a related purpose you would

reasonably expect, or another purpose with your consent or as permitted by law.

6. Who we disclose personal information to

We may disclose personal information to:

• Skool — our community and course platform (hosts your account, content access, and community interactions);

• Stripe — payment processing (via Skool);

• Go High Level (GHL) — our CRM, email automation, and funnel platform (manages your scorecard data, email communications,

and lead nurture);

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising platform (receives conversion and pixel data for ad targeting and measurement);

• Google — analytics and potentially search advertising;

• Cloud hosting and IT providers — infrastructure supporting our website and tools;

• Professional advisers — such as our accountants and lawyers;

• Regulators, law enforcement or other parties — where required or authorised by law; and

• A purchaser of our business or assets — in connection with a sale or restructure.

We require our service providers to handle personal information consistently with this policy and the law. We do not sell your

personal information

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it function, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.

Tools we use:

• Google Analytics — website traffic and behavior analytics.

• Meta Pixel — ad conversion tracking, retargeting, and lookalike audience building.

• Go High Level tracking — form submissions, page visits, and email engagement.

The Meta Pixel collects data about your interactions with our website and ads (including pages viewed, actions taken, and device information) to help us measure ad effectiveness and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/ad preferences.

Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU or UK), we will ask for your consent to non-essential cookies before we set

them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings,

although some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

8. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include:

• Secure (HTTPS) hosting for our website

• Access controls limiting who within our team can access personal information

• Encryption in transit for data between you and our platforms

• Use of reputable, security-certified third-party platforms (Skool, Stripe, GHL)

• Staff and contractor confidentiality obligations

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (for

example, tax and financial records must be kept for 5–7 years). When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or

de-identify it.

Some of our service providers store information outside Australia — see section 10.

9. Direct marketing and your choices

With your consent or where otherwise permitted, we may send you marketing communications about our programs, content, offers and events. This includes email nurture sequences following your Raise-Readiness Scorecard completion.

Every marketing email includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or emailing us at [email protected].

We handle marketing in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

10. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process personal information overseas. Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the APPs.

We are likely to disclose personal information to recipients located in the United States (Skool, Stripe, Go High Level, Meta, Google).

11. Access and correction

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.

To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge for making a request or for correcting your information, although a reasonable charge may apply for giving access in some cases. If we refuse access or correction, we will explain why in writing and tell you how to complain.

12. International customers (EU/UK GDPR and other regions)

Because we enrol customers around the world, additional data-protection laws may apply to you depending on where you live. In particular, if you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our handling of your personal information.

Legal bases for processing:
Contract — to perform our contract with you (delivering the Program, processing payment);

• Consent — for marketing communications, non-essential cookies, and the Meta pixel;

• Legitimate interests — improving and securing our services, measuring ad effectiveness, and fraud prevention, balanced against your rights; and

• Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.

Your rights:

• Access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal information

• Object to processing based on legitimate interests

• Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format)

• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out)

To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

International transfers:

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including Australia and the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers (such as standard contractual clauses).

Other regions:

If you live somewhere else (for example, certain US states with privacy laws), local privacy laws may give you additional rights. Contact us and we will help where we can.

13. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated systems or AI to make decisions that have a significant legal or similarly significant effect on you. The Raise-Readiness Scorecard generates an automated score based on your responses, but this is for educational/informational purposes only — it does not determine eligibility for any service or produce legal effects. You are free to disregard it.

14. Data breaches

We have procedures in place to respond to data breaches. If a breach involving your personal information is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

15. Anonymity

Where it is lawful and practicable, you have the option of dealing with us anonymously or using a pseudonym. In most cases, however, we will need your details to provide our services (e.g. to process payment or grant platform access).

16. Children

Raise & Scale with AI is intended for adults (business founders aged 18+) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

17. Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and provide a substantive response within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

• Website: www.oaic.gov.au

• Phone: 1300 363 992

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at raiseandscale.ai/privacy, and the “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be notified by email or a notice in the Skool community.
